The Duke Diet and Fitness center is a premier diet and lifestyle center based in Durham in North Carolina, and one of America's longest running treatment centers for those patients who struggle with weight loss and a sedentary lifestyle. Established in 1969, the Duke center has been at the forefront of diet, health and fitness support and research for more than 40 years and is a world leader in innovation in diet support. The traditional Duke program is a 2-4 week long residential program that focuses on changes to four major areas of a patient's life - their diet, their fitness, their behavior and habits and finally, the effective management of contributory medical conditions. Studies report that the Duke program is one of the most successful diet and health programs available, with more than 50% of patients continuing to maintain and improve on weight loss up to 5 years after they leave the program.

The Duke Diet Online is an online (and perhaps slightly condensed) version of the leading Duke Diet Program. As a member, you will receive guidance and information from a renowned expert in each of the core areas of 'weight loss management' as identified by the Duke scientists.
