It's all down to yourself - no-one checks your progress or what you are doing wrong. You add your calories and subtract exercise calories and that is that. Other than that, you just have to chat with members.
There is a diet plan if you wish. It's fine and basically calories in and calories out is the only thing that works so it does educate you on the calorific value of foods.
One VERY bad thing about the site is the 'Off Topic' board which is full of very argumentative and nasty people and I can't wait for my membership to finish after only 3 months. It's been quite a traumatic experience and something I don't need to pay for to be verbally abused.
Join if you want but stay clear of Off Topic board. Other sites offer similar and free and that is where I am going now. Worst thing I did was join WLR.
In summary, I would not recommend Weight Loss Resources to a friend.
