Up to you but beware of wannabe trolls

It's all down to yourself - no-one checks your progress or what you are doing wrong. You add your calories and subtract exercise calories and that is that. Other than that, you just have to chat with members.

There is a diet plan if you wish. It's fine and basically calories in and calories out is the only thing that works so it does educate you on the calorific value of foods.

One VERY bad thing about the site is the 'Off Topic' board which is full of very argumentative and nasty people and I can't wait for my membership to finish after only 3 months. It's been quite a traumatic experience and something I don't need to pay for to be verbally abused.

Join if you want but stay clear of Off Topic board. Other sites offer similar and free and that is where I am going now. Worst thing I did was join WLR.

In summary, I would not recommend Weight Loss Resources to a friend.

Great Site, better than any other on the web!

I lost over 50 pounds the first time around, then gained weight years later, didnt want to go the slow route, kept gaining weight and finally went back on it 3 months ago. I have already lost 30 pounds. This is the best online site on the web, even if you do not live in the UK. The online food database has over 25 thousand items, and the food idary is awesome! You can see your whole day broken down by meal, fat, protein, carbs, sugar, sodium, etc. They have charts and nutrition plans, and you can see over time what you have eaten broken down in a variety of ways. And if you have been on the site a long time, like me, I can go back 10 years and see how many calories I ate! It works, is not fiddly like weight watchers, not ridiculous like diet.com, and is by far the best on the web. Read the success stories for motivation...if i can do this, anyone can...

Why does no1reviews rate this so low, and the others so high, when clearly the reviews from actual customers are so different than their reviews???

In summary, I would recommend Weight Loss Resources to a friend.
